- When I browse by type of holiday, are the prices shown exactly what I'd pay?
Updated: 16/04/08
-
To make it easier to find your perfect holiday, the prices shown are a guide to
help you compare different products. Our prices are based on two people sharing,
and are on a per person basis. To get an accurate quote for your preferred holiday,
enter your requirements in the search form on the Dubai in Style home page. We will
then search all available flights and hotels, and provide you with the best available
price for your Dubai holiday.
- When I fill in my details into the search box my holiday comes out much more expensive
than advertised.
-
We try to make the prices shown on our listings page as accurate as possible, but
differences in price can arise because of the specific dates you have chosen, fare
availability and room type. You may be able to reduce the price by entering different
dates or choosing a different room type.

- Do I need a Visa/Passport to travel to Dubai? Updated: 16/04/08
-
If you are a UK citizen, all you need to enjoy a holiday in Dubai is a full passport
that is valid for at least 6 months after your travel date. You will be issued with
a tourist visa on arrival in Dubai, which will be valid for the length of your stay.
The following websites contain the most up to date information on passports, visas,
health and travel advice worldwide:
- Do I need travel insurance with my holiday?
-
Yes. We recommend having travel insurance whenever you leave the UK. Although Dubai
is a safe destination, there is always the potential for mishaps and accidents during
your trip. Emergency healthcare is extremely expensive in Dubai, so make sure your
insurance policy offers comprehensive cover for any activities you plan to take
part in.
- Will I have to have vaccinations to go to Dubai? Updated: 16/04/08
-
No vaccinations are required for entry to the UAE. However, a cholera and yellow
fever certificate is required from passengers arriving from an affected area. More
details about medical requirements for visiting Dubai are available in our comprehensive
Dubai travel guide.
- Is it safe to visit Dubai? Updated: 16/04/08
-
Thanks to its stable economy and negligible crime levels, Dubai is one of the safest
tourist destinations in the world. Billions of pounds have been invested in making
it the leading holiday destination in the Middle East, and every year millions of
people enjoy their stay here without encountering any trouble. However, as with
any destination, you should still exercise caution when leaving the main tourist
areas of the city, and always respect local traditions and culture. We recommend
you check the
Foreign Office web site before booking any foreign holidays to ensure you
are aware of any potential problems that may arise.
